Jessica Smith

Jessica is an experienced operations professional with an extensive background in healthcare and professional client service.

She joins Ascend Healthcare Advisors after serving as the primary logistics coordinator for Stoneridge Partners, a healthcare mergers and acquisitions firm. While at Stoneridge, she was also responsible for managing confidential client data in the firm’s proprietary database, particularly during the due diligence process; coordinating firm marketing efforts; supervising asset logistics; and managing the firm’s main headquarters office.

Jessica also previously worked on client marketing initiatives for Impact Acquisition, a boutique general business brokerage serving a wide variety of buyers and sellers across several industry sectors.

Prior to her work in the mergers and acquisitions space, Jessica worked as a trained care provider in a number of healthcare settings. A board-certified phlebotomist and medical assistant, Jessica participated in patient care, evaluation, and counseling, and assisted with procedures and post-operative care. Before she discovered her passion for healthcare, Jessica worked in several customer-facing roles in the hospitality industry, developing the skills she puts to work now as an expert client service manager.

Jessica is a Notary Public in the state of Kentucky, and she attended the University of Louisville. When she is not working one-on-one with Ascend’s clients and leadership, Jessica likes to spend time with her family and her two very spoiled French bulldogs.
